Senator Wicker: Obama ‘Recess’ Appointments when Senate not in recess a “blatant abuse of power”

There is nothing unusual about a President making a recess appointment. But to do so when the Senate is not in recess is, as Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker said about President Obama’s recent appointments, a “blatant abuse of power.” I take a look at the recess appointment power and Senator Wicker’s remarks in my column this week.
